After your free request, Create Numbers emails a list of available numbers with prices (within 5 days). Each option is hyperlinked — click the number you want, follow checkout on the website, and complete purchase. You can buy as many numbers as you like; prices start in the Bronze band from £205.

When you are ready to buy

You are ready when you have the options email and at least one number at a price you accept. Create Numbers shares matching mobiles by email first; purchase only starts when you click through to checkout. That email-led path matches strong UK ecommerce behaviour: Omnisend’s 2025 report found a 14.37% UK email click-to-conversion rate, with about one in three automated-email clickers purchasing (Omnisend, 2025 Ecommerce marketing report).

How purchase works on Create Numbers

Purchase starts from the hyperlinked numbers in the email — click the mobile you want and finish checkout on createnumbers.com. You may repeat that for every number you want to buy from the list (or from later requests). Automated, timely emails stay high-intent: Omnisend’s 2025 dataset attributed 37% of email-driven sales to just 2% of email volume (automations).

  1. Open the available-numbers email from Create Numbers.
  2. Compare endings and prices (Bronze–Platinum bands).
  3. Click the hyperlinked number you want.
  4. Follow the website checkout steps and save your confirmation.
  5. Repeat for any further numbers you wish to purchase.
  6. Keep order emails — you will need them for delivery and going live.
Note

Submitting a request never charges you. You only pay when you complete checkout for a selected number.

How to choose between emailed options

Pick the option you will actually use in speech and (later) print — not only the cheapest row. Adults’ working memory typically holds about 3–5 chunks (Cowan, 2010, Current Directions in Psychological Science), so clearer patterns outperform awkward near-misses. An Infosurv / 800response recall study reported roughly 84% higher recall for vanity-style numbers versus numeric-only numbers in visual ads (MarketingCharts summary).

Prefer this Over this Why
Easy to say aloud Cheapest awkward ending Better recall in calls and ads
Matches your brief Random leftover digits Fits why you requested
Price band you planned for Stretch “just because” Avoid buyer’s regret
Available in this email Waiting forever for a twin Stock moves; act while links are live

What you pay for

You pay for each selected custom number; requests stay free. Prices sit in published tiers from £205 (Bronze) upward. UK mobile remains a large market — Ofcom’s Q4 2024 update counted 88.9 million active mobile subscriptions (excluding M2M) and £3.53bn mobile retail revenue that quarter (Ofcom Q4 2024 Telecommunications Market Data Update).

Item Position
Request Free (unlimited submissions)
Custom number Bronze £205–£250, Silver £251–£650, Gold £651–£1,200, Platinum £1,201+
PAC by email Included in fulfilment
Optional PAYG SIM (UK or international) Free shipping; import duties/VAT if any payable by you

Treat the emailed price and checkout total as authoritative for each number.

Cancellation and refunds

Custom mobile number purchases are non-refundable because they are bespoke, except in narrow cases. You may request a refund if you ask within 3 days of payment, if delivery exceeds 4 weeks, or if the purchased mobile number is unavailable. Outside those cases, plan to keep the number you bought.

Warning

Do not share or market the number (website copy, business cards, ads) until delivery and transfer of ownership have completed successfully.

After you pay

After payment, wait for fulfilment — typically a PAC by email within about 2–4 weeks (most orders within 2 weeks). Optional free PAYG SIM shipping is available if you want a physical card to port onto. Public UK postal performance still argues for buffers when a SIM is posted: Royal Mail delivered 76.5% of First Class items next working day in 2024/25 against a 93% target (Ofcom on Royal Mail 2024/25).

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I buy the first option in the email?

Only if it matches your brief and you can say it cleanly — list order is not a quality ranking. Test the ending with a colleague before paying. Recall studies favour memorable patterns over plain digit strings (Infosurv / 800response research summarised by MarketingCharts).

Should I buy more than one number from the same email?

Yes, if you need them — click through checkout for each hyperlinked option you want. Each number is a separate purchase at its listed price. Spare “just in case” stock still needs the full delivery lead time.

Should I buy immediately or wait a few days?

Buy when you are sure; popular patterns can move, but rushing a weak ending is costlier than a short think. Omnisend’s 2025 data shows strong UK conversion when people click with intent — so decide while the thread is fresh. Diary a same-day review rather than an open-ended wait.

Should I expect a refund if I change my mind after a week?

No — purchases are non-refundable except within 3 days of payment, if delivery exceeds 4 weeks, or if the number is unavailable. Bespoke allocation is why the policy is narrow. Contact Create Numbers promptly if one of those exceptions applies.

Should I print the number on marketing before it arrives?

No — wait until delivery and transfer of ownership are complete. Publishing early risks promoting a number you cannot yet use. Soft-launch only after you have tested inbound calls/SMS.

Should I buy if only near-matches were offered?

Yes, if a near-match still meets your “say it” test; otherwise submit another free request with a clearer pattern. See Submit a request. Unlimited submissions are allowed.

Should a limited company buy in a personal name?

Buy in the name and email your organisation will use for delivery and ownership records, unless your accountant advises otherwise. Align checkout identity with the inbox that will receive the PAC (and any SIM).

Should I expect the number to work the day I pay?

No — fulfilment is typically 2–4 weeks (most within 2 weeks). Plan artwork and SIM swaps behind that window. Going-live steps are in Get connected.

Should I screenshot prices for finance approval?

Yes — keep the email and a screenshot or PDF, especially for Silver–Platinum spends. The live checkout amount remains authoritative. Bronze starts at £205; see Pricing overview.

Should I contact support before paying if the email looks odd?

Yes — if links, branding or pricing look wrong, stop and verify with Create Numbers before entering card details. Compare the domain carefully to createnumbers.com. Phishing risk sits on any email-led checkout journey.
